Minish Cap - Great Demon Vaati

Soooo I was talking to ~ryoga-2003 about Zelda related stuff. He's finished Twilight Princess, but never finished Minish Cap. I've finished Minish Cap, but haven't yet touched Twilight Princess. We were swaping notes and stuff about theories about the actual timeline of the Zelda games (something I like to ponder every once in a while). We were checking out maps, names, and manga of the early games as well as the new ones and when I got around to showing him some stuff about Minish Cap we went through the manga and hit the page where Vaati turns into "Great Demon Vaati" and he just went "... He has Midna's mask."

I was greatly amused because it does kinda look like Midna's mask. Soooooo.... other than a few other silly theories we messed around with I got the urge to draw this form of Vaati that never actually showed up in the game, just the manga.

I sketched this last night... >.o I sure have quite the work ethic if I really feel like it...
